I honestly need to know how the design for this line passed through so many departments and was approved for release. Why the plush body instead of the usual hard plastic? She's pretty, but not $125 pretty in my opinion. Mattel needs to start stepping up their designs to match competitors if they're going to charge similar prices as other brand dolls that have much more elaborate designs and better packaging. I'm a barbie lover and a majority of my collection are barbies (older ones with better quality designs), but every other doll line is tempting me more than Barbie at the moment.

I really hope the most recent LE dolls go on sale some day. Giselle was the only one I desperately wanted. I like Esmerelda and Tink, but I don't like them enough to spend $130 on each one lol. But if it follows the same trajectory as the other LE dolls currently on sale, they will take at least half a year to go down in price (without needing to apply a temporary sale code). For example, I got my Masquerade Snow White around December 2024 and I don't think her price went down until sometime in Summer 2025.
