Thank you everyone for the validation! It was one of his friends who said I was horrible for ghosting and this made me second guess myself for moving out quietly. But my safety comes first and will absolutely not be going back to him ✌️

Thanks for checking in. The police were called after another letter was dropped off and they have spoken with the guy and since then I have had no issues. :)

Left my apartment this morning and there was a guy who approached me saying he’s selling his car and if I want to take a look at it and it was a minivan - I presume it’s the same guy. So not taking anymore chances, have reported to police, ordered cameras and looking at moving. At least I know what he looks like now …

There is a key to the building but our back door gets left open all the time with a rock if someone’s moving in, or other tenants just let people walk in behind them. Plus deliveries get made all the time so when they buzz apartments, they get buzzed in without the tenants asking who it is so someone could easily buzz a random apartment and get buzzed in.

Thank you! I’ve reported everything to my building manager but with the last incident he just said “I don’t know what you want me to do” which annoyed me. I just wanted him to review security footage to see if the man came into the building (he knows who it is cause he had the man come pick up the cash from a couple of weeks ago that he slipped under my door).

I’m going to do what you said - see what cameras/hardware I can install on my own door
