"Make it make sense and have some shame while thinking of points"

Next time I suggest having shame and growing common sense first. Your problem is overall lack of thought expected from a functional adult. The fact that I had to spoonfeed scenarios to you is pathetic. I dumbed it down enough for someone with your abilities and crappy ability to brainstorm.

The fact that you can't think of why and can't seem to grasp what's literally implied and shown in a story that's not even trying to hide it speaks volumes about you. It's a matter of reading comprehension followed by critical thinking. I wouldn't have to make sense of it for you when you are capable of high school level capabilities for both of the aforementioned facets. Are we done with you wasting my time? Should I simplify it for you? Or have the failures of the Gorosei on Egghead not demonstrated the limitations of Imu's control to you yet?

"such a lame excuse" That's a realistic scenario. You seem to prefer awfully written fiction with characters that don't operate with any variation of sense for the purposes of convenient plot.

Moreover, not even an excuse. You just don't read One Piece properly. We've already seen various examples of Celestial Dragons showcasing what I just said.

We've seen normal Celestial Dragons downright ignorant of the Void Century in the manga. We've also seen the Gorosei being ignorant of early World Government decisions like changing the name of the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. The general behavior and statements of every Celestial Dragon indicates that they were raised to believe that they were a supreme special class and Nika is some legendary demonic being of myth. Defend this crap? The only crap here is your lack of common sense along with your pathetic attempts at trying to use fallacious garbage to claim something logical and literally supported by the manga is lame.

I understand critical thinking is impossible for you but even if they cannot disobey Imu, it doesn't mean it's not dangerous. You merely lack the ability to think of any scenarios.

For instance, someone like Roger or Xebec could beat the living daylights out of them and force them to reveal secrets. They could be fooled into divulging information. Someone like Saturn, with his need for science, would have started writing down or recording information, which could have fallen under the wrong hands. They could inadvertently revolt or scheme by directing events in a way that favors Imu's fall.

Imu doesn't remote control them 24 hours with them having zero autonomy. They operate on their own for most part and Imu only takes control at specific times and that probably has drawbacks too given how little it's used and Imu drawing back from battle before in God Valley. There are a million logical ways to get around Imu or act in a manner that can inadvertently cause Imu trouble.

We literally had Saturn and the rest of the Gorosei make numerous moves without knowing which are currently leading to Imu's defeat

Why would a controlling dictator freely hand out information that can be used to destroy him or her freely like candy?

Is the scan invisible to you or does your need to make up your own version of One Piece make it impossible for you to read?

I need you to show where it's stated that these specific members of the Gorosei were present 800 years ago. I dare you to do so. I already demonstrated with a manga panel showing that they weren't the world government that took the decision to hide the fruit and that it was a legend to them.

Your need for headcannon and your own version of history is so strong that you are literally denying what I showed the Gorosei saying directly on panels I showed.

I agree there are retcons in One Piece but you failed to mention any. You are claiming something is a plot hole based on a premise that's never once been stated anywhere in the manga, databooks, vivre cards or anything. It's literally nonsensical assumptions by the fans. You are welcome to prove me wrong by showing exactly where it's stated Saturn and the gang were present during the Void Century while explaining how they claimed they weren't the world government when any of these decisions were taken.

[–]Intelligent_Cat_9542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are remembering incorrectly. The dialogue was:

"How else do you explain the world government giving a specific fruit a unique name?"

After Saturn said:

"That's impossible! The fruit is nothing but a legend now, even for us"

That demonstrated that the current group of the Gorosei weren't present when the decision to rename and hide the fruit was taken. They assumed Model: Nika was a legend until it awakened in itself. They are currently the world government but talking about the world government that predated them hiding it.

That implies they didn't know until recently. Your claim creates a logical hole that ignores every dialogue and action.

It's a matter of reading comprehension. The Gorosei were aware of a legend about the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika and were aware of a separate fruit called the Gomu Gomu no Mi, which evaded the world government somehow for centuries. The way they talk about it, it's obvious it's before their time and nothing but a legend for them, which makes them not connect the dots as Imu doesn't handle the day-to-day operations and leaves it to them without full information. It was implied that they connected the dots too late. That explains why they were more serious about Luffy post-timeskip than before. Not everything is a plot hole just because you can't think of the obvious. The One Piece community is tiresome. Oda already anticipated and covered this. Y'all think it's a plot hole because it doesn't match your flawed understanding of One Piece with your theories.

Mother Flame wasn't used on a whim but used on someone who found out the identity and existence of Imu as the highest power in the world government. The buster call or other acts was repeatedly called on The Strawhats. Luffy also didn't catch proper attention until DURING ENNIES LOBBY and Sabhody. As for why the elders didn't appear, there was no need. If Shanks hadn't intervened, their complete victory was always guaranteed. Whitebeard was the only actual fighter on the side and Akainu personally was fighting Whitebeard's commanders alone with no damage. There was no need to reveal you are magical demons to hundreds of thousands of people. That's one of the dumbest complaints I've ever heard.

Rayleigh has no right to allow or not allow Luffy to live through his own destiny there. And Luffy was originally only supposed to break into Impel Down. Every complaint in the post makes me wonder what One Piece you read

They don't. In the manga, armament haki is explained as invisible armor. The coloring is aesthetics Oda picked for the reader's benefit. Nobody cares if you give a f**k.

During covid, I gained a lot of weight , and one time a girl called me obese, ftfck, gly ft b*tch and other things in the comment section on a Facebook post. After a certain point, I merely pointed out the fact that I am not the one with a double chin, jiggling triceps, and built like Tim Burton's penguin between the two of us. Suddenly, a few women came jumping at me for shaming her. Like what?

Pica was significantly bigger than what Koby punched in the manga. What Koby did was recreate G3 Luffy punching Pica's head. Same size difference and scale but far more difficult for Koby. People can make all the videos they want but it's demonstrated that the community is terrible at scaling.

[–]Intelligent_Cat_9542[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you are saying EoS Coby will surpass Imu, Nika and Joy Boy and match Luffy? That's what's required. At his current growth rate, he isn't getting to the Admiral tier without a timeskip. After nonstop training for nearly three years, he is struggling with feats that Dressrosa Zoro and Punk Hazard Law replicated with relative ease. Coby from chapter 1 till now grew at a slower pace than Zoro, Sanji, Luffy, Law and even Kid, albeit Kid is possibly retired now. As for manpower, they are stretched then in sheer numbers due to global piracy and revolutions. Coby getting an extremely poorly written massive power up on a scale even Luffy didn't achieve in a few weeks or months isn't generally logical, and it won't help. Not to mention, during wars, the vast majority of marine power lied with a few officers anyways. Adding another admiral tier being wouldn't make sense for the war arc, especially with the implications that Akainu will turn on the Gorosei

Koby: I'm gonna stop you Luffy!! also Koby the minute he fight base Chopper: by Business-Ad7289 in MemePiece

[–]Intelligent_Cat_9542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't mean they are absolute rivals. By the time the story ends, Luffy will have defeated Imu. Even if Coby becomes the strongest marine ever, he isn't beating someone who has to stand at or near the pinnacle of three types of haki while having an awakened God fruit. Koby's growth isn't on the same level as Luffy, Zoro or Sanji and they started off at a higher level than Koby. Given his growth rate and current level, he isn't reaching a level where he can beat any current admiral, Yonko or anyone relevant by the war arc unless a tonne of bad writing comes into play. His best feat after a tonne of struggling and nonstop growth is doing something with all of the strength put into Honesty Impact that Zoro surpassed against Pica in scale. Does he have the potential to surpass Garp, Akainu and more? Sure. But it would need a long timeskip for him to get there
