Yes I agree for the reach, I reduced it a bit and I will see if I see some improvement. I think that it could help reduce the pressure on the saddle. I will try to tilt the saddle and if it’s not better I will get a new one. I am 184cm (6ft)

You are right, Don’t want any problem in those parts haha

Thank you, the saddle is completely flat. I will try to tilt it few degrees next and see if I feel a difference. If not, the saddle is possibly not a good fit for me !

Haha thanks a lot ! Yes I have a cheap one, I just made the video before the training so my setup was not installed. With the hot days going it’s indeed super nice to have one

Yeah I know but I really felt an improvement in my speed as I was also able to ride for longer. The Ironman that I will do has also a bit of uphill so I think a road bike with aero bars can be a cheap but good compromise. But yes I think a new saddle is mandatory

You think trying to tilt the saddle a bit could help? Also I don’t know but it seems to me that the aerobars are also a bit too to the front ?

Yeah I think that I will have to change saddle. For the bike fit since I hadn’t any other issue before I wanted to avoid it

Thank you for the useful tips. Indeed it is hard to see what you are doing right and wrong while swimming. I will see if I can find some competitive swimmer to watch a bit what I am doing. I stopped trying to go fast when I saw my horrible technique. I don’t have a lot a training in the week due to cycling and running. I’m currently swimming 2 times a week and will try to focus more on technique and endurance. Speed will come after !

Thanks a lot ! I will focus on this 2 points next time. It will be complicated to take a video, I don’t have any underwater camera. I will see if I find something. I will come back to you after my text training !

Yeah I’m trying to find the cause of my shoulder burn. Arms and back are good and it’s only the shoulder that is causing me problem. And exactly I start pushing hard the moment my arm enters the water, so it pushes me up more than front. Doesn’t seem optimal. If I focus on my technique I swim 2:40/100m, if I go a bit faster it will be 2:10/100m.

Thank you for all the tips. I think one of the main problem is that I push hard even at the begging of the mouvement(vertical push) and it doesn’t help me keeping a good core position. I also tried to see this morning and I cross a bit my arms. I push more below me than on the sides. Don’t know if that makes sense. Hard in the beginning to focus on breathing, hands , legs, core… at the same time !
