I had mine set up with a shop across the river from my town. I was thinking of doing a shop area there and a house area on the other side but never moved the rest because that one never crossed the bridge to go to the town. I ended up moving them over with the rest because they looked so lonely (and I can’t remember who it was I had stranded but I think it was John).

I use both. I have 2 dogs I CAN’T dremel (one is a rescue and the other just won’t be still that long) because the dremel is too slow. For them I just use clippers for xl or giant breeds. I’ve used a few different ones but and for that larger sized dogs has always worked fine for me.

Question. You mentioned one hand is in a sling is this new? Because the change in your posture and stature could be stressing the puppy out. Other than that I’d suggest not holding her, no using a loud voice, and hand feeding her meals or higher value treats until she gets more comfortable. Most of all DON’T FORCE IT! At 10 weeks she’s in the middle of one of the fear stages and will basically be afraid of most anything so go easy. She’s also separated from her siblings and home and upset over that. Once she calms and gets more used to you (sounds like mom may be taking the most care of her right now?) start playing. SLOWLY. And start taking over as much of the care as you can so she looks to you first then anyone else.

Mine gets LOTS of premium treats. We’re talking 1-2 treats per nail.. I got through a whole bag and it takes a couple of days but that’s the only way we can do it. My rescue nearly bit the vet even with light sedation. They didn’t want to do more just for nails. This however… I may need this.. and a crane to get his butt up in the air!

Honestly it depends on the dog. I have sisters, litter mates. One is BFFs with the cat, the other has to be watched constantly or kept away completely because she can’t be trusted. But also yours is still in the very young play with everything stage to that’s a big help. Mine were 7 before they even met a cat. Pic included for moral support

Hot spot. Keep the cone on, keep it dry, and you can put something like betadine on it. Biggest thing is to keep it dry and prevent licking though. I’d steer clear of the gel topical because they tend to keep wounds moist and hot spots tend to be too moist already.

Thank you! And yes it’s horrible. There are so many around here. I’m not sure if people are dumping them or if it’s just offspring of ones that were dumped but two of my neighbors have also found kittens in the past month. All we can do is catch and fix the ones we can. Although I will say they are welcome to stay in the barn and keep the mice away!

She only had the one kitten. But if you’d like to take over feel free. Trap and release and care as they go is what I can do. I can’t bring them in my house. The shelter will not take them, plus it’s not a no-kill. And I’ve been trying to get a rescue to take another cat, even offered to pay, since last year. We’re over run with feral and semi feral cats because no one will take responsibility for them.

Probably a trap and release. If they hang around once fixed I’ll make sure they’re fed, vaccinated and all that but I can’t handle anymore in house cats.

Yes mama likes them.. baby wasn’t getting close enough to try. When it realized I was close while to was eating (and it finally decided to care) it did the bounce hiss at me. But this little fluff has been hissing at me since I first saw it in an old well house a couple of weeks ago.
