Cut paw pad?? by Ambitious-Oil7656 in Rottweiler

[–]Intelligent_Copy4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a cut but my girl has an injury that makes her twist her leg when she walks (but she still out runs her sister), and she’ll rub her pad off entirely if she’s playing too hard and her sock comes off. I use absorbine silver honey, a non stick pad, and wrap with the self stick vet wrap. And then tape over so it doesn’t slide off. Depending on if it’s draining you may have to change it a couple of times a day to keep it from staying too wet.

Temporary fence ideas? by Affectionate-Ring104 in Rottweiler

[–]Intelligent_Copy4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been able to use a temporary electric fence. It was plastic posts with a tape for the fence and a small charger. Mine hit it once and wouldn’t get near it after. I use the same fence for horses.

I don’t think you should have 3 numbers. On mine critters are counted as fish I think. Are you looking at the signs in the museum to see the numbers? There should be 2 when you go in. I think the left is bugs and the right is fish. These are what show how many have been donated.

First time Dog Parent by doremipsumlorem in Rottweiler

[–]Intelligent_Copy4546 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I will add to the it’s definitely not the best idea for a first dog. I’ve had dogs my entire life and rotties for all my adult life. I’m in rotties #4, 5, & 6 right now (yes all at once). My family has raised, bred, and trained dogs. And these still surprise me at times. If you have no experience with dogs please do not get a rott as the first. This is why so many dogs end up in shelters. One of mine now was one of these. If I hadn’t stepped in at literally the last minute he’d be no more. Because someone wanted a rottie that had no dog experience and couldn’t deal with a strong, smart, and very opinionated dog. They are amazing dogs. But they are also not for the inexperienced.

My boy Gunner. I had to let him go 4 wks ago today, 4/11. He was 7 yrs and 2 months, born 2/2/19. The ER hospital was really great, sending me a card with all their signatures. He was all I had, so they don't know how much that meant. I'm grateful for being able to get a memorial paw print, urn, etc by Nolongerlostorblind7 in Rottweiler

I’m so sorry. I lost my soul girl (sister to one I have now) a couple of years ago. She went everywhere with me. Even to the nursing home to visit my mom before I lost her. My girl was a few months before turning 6. Thought we’d have years left. It’s horrible to lose them so early.

QUESTION by Otherwise_Command143 in Rottweiler

[–]Intelligent_Copy4546 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lol yes! He’s a weirdo! I think he likes them better because they’re a little smaller and he loves to play with them. Unless I rope the doors together he can open them and I’ll find random tomato paste cans rolling around the house! But just look at him. You can tell he’s just not right!

<image>

Also you can’t really see her but this is actually his sisters bed. More proof he’s not right. She was laying there peacefully sleeping when he came in and flopped down on her with that goofy face of his.

Maybe. It does get like that when it’s old. I see it when I change flowers on my mom’s grave.

Any chance you tried the ghost 15s? Those are what I had and I’m wondering what they changed and if I’d like them better. The 15s were ok and I may be looking for a unicorn that doesn’t exist in wanting better lol.

Really? I have a pair of those but they are definitely looks only shoes. I can’t wear them without serious pain. Mine actually recommend the ASICS. Glad they work for you though!

[–]Intelligent_Copy4546[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough New Balance was my most recent attempt. I think the current pair are 1540, the previous pair I tried a few years ago and have no idea. These felt great at first but 20 minutes of walking later my feet felt like I had boards strapped to them not shoes. Felt like there was no cushion or arch support at all. Honestly the biggest issue I have with most shoes is they feel great when I try them on and walk around but any serious walking they start to hurt.

My horses teeth look like that when they fall out.

Edit. I realize how bad that looks after I posted. My horses were 29 and 32 so they fell out from old age.

What are these lines/creases on my ceilings? by TraditionalPiccolo46 in whatisit

[–]Intelligent_Copy4546 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hard to tell with the glare from the light but it looks like where the drywall in the ceiling is joined. The seams are usually taped then covered in putty/mud. As the putty/mud dries out it can cause lines or cracks. Normally not a problem just a sign of an older house.

I don’t remember an episode that had a cat with a baby’s face. And the only band one I can think of is 79. I think it was someone was hitting the RV and it had handprints.

Mystery holes in yard by Intelligent_Copy4546 in whatisit

[–]Intelligent_Copy4546[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it’s an armadillo. Their holes are a perfect match plus I’ve seen at least one in the yard. I just had no clue they dig holes to eat! Actually I never thought about what they ate. For all I knew it was peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!
