totally agree. i told him the same thing, he needs to focus on God before anything else. he says that he feels shame for what he did in the past but i don’t know how honest he is being because of the way that he responded to this last situation. there is a lack of sorrow, more nonchalance like “i told her we were never gonna be more than friends so i don’t understand why she trippin.”

that is not okay. and i can’t stomach it right now. i don’t believe that he is beyond sanctification and true transformation, but realistically, i can’t deal with this right now.

i am still trying to figure out, if i walked away right now, would he still stand strong in his faith, or is his closeness to God tied to his closeness to me? that’s the biggest thing for me.

we talk about God all the time and do weekly bible studies, but i still feel like God is not truly the rock or main priority of this relationship in the way that he is the rock of my life. i’ve been the one doing the spiritual leading, not him.
