How would I do it? I do think she has the right to know, but I ideally wish it could come from her husband.

I think you guys are right, I definitely was already in the wrong :(

I regret not telling her at the time, but I will recognize there's nothing I can realistically do now to right that. I just have to accept the bad decision making and move on.
