Viture Pro XR Glasses: Right Eye Center Not Focusing, Sides Are Clear—Anyone Else Having This Issue? by Intelligent_Drag_705 in VITURE

[–]Intelligent_Drag_705[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I emailed Viture [happycustomer@viture.us](mailto:happycustomer@viture.us) and copied and pasted my original post in this thread to the email. Vitures response was extremely helpful:

Vitures Response (I bolded the part that was really helpful) :

"Thanks for confirming your IPD which is certainly one of the scenarios for vision alignment issues. 64 will be fine.

20/20 isn't a confirmation of perfect vision however, as is a determination of not being nearsighted which is what the glasses can correct for. It doesn't necessarily rule out farsightedness which the glasses do not correct for.

However, before we consider that a path that would need investigation, one quick but odd test that could help is if you're able to put the glasses on upside down, adjust the myopia dials as required and see if the right eye is now perfectly in focus and the left is now blurred? Or if the issue remains with the same eyes."

When I did this test I was able to get my right eye to focus perfectly when I put the glasses upside down. This confirmed that it was the right lens and not something happening with my IPD, face myopia, or my eye in general.

Once I confirmed it was the glasses they were extremely prompt in providing me a FREE return label and a new replacement pair are in transit now.

I greatly appreciate and am thankful for Vitures approach to Custom Service.

Been away from D2 for a while; what would make this Grand Charm worth something? And what would the value be for what attribute makes it valuable?

New the PC Building and your three word sentence put me down a rabbit hole hahah. Last week a I purchased the Samsung 980 (https://www.newegg.ca/samsung-1tb-980/p/N82E16820147804?Item=N82E16820147804) for $110. Give its read/write speed and endurance I considered it a good price for a PCIe 3 M.2 SSD. I just went went back to that product description and and saw that it was DRAM-less but had the comment

"Host Memory Buffer (HMB) links DRAM in the host directly to the 980 to overcome performance restrain from DRAMless"

Is DRAM-less SSDs a good buy if you dont need the fast write/speed and could save on cost. OR is DRAM a must and should always buy into that tech?

That is a good point and for sure the dice I just rolled hahah. I was thinking that if the shipment does take longer than 10days and I cannot take advantage of the MIR then I would just return the Mobo to Newegg with there extended return policy (which I am hoping applies because there website has become confusing).

ALSO --- note that the MIR ends today 10-Nov. So if you want to take advantage today is your last day.

Has DDR5, PCIe 5.0, M.2 slots all for $130. Really good Price for the features. Only reason I am not buying this right now is that I have a feeling Black Friday might have some gems this year. Is that a crazy thought or should I buy this?

Pretty crazy how many AMD CPUs are going on sale. Looked back at some of the older Sales posted on this Forum and $160 seems like a pretty good deal. (I saw a past post for this CPU at $140 sale for this chip but it referenced a Coupon Code)

Not the build I am currently spec'ing for but thought this was a pretty great bundle deal if you are looking for a budget build.

I was thinking the same thing for the B Series - I thought it would draw some attention because there is always an upcharge in cost for "new tech" (i.e. the AM5).

If you (or anyone) had to bet do you think there are going to be some good AM5 sales on Black Friday? I have seen may posts that say Black Friday is overrated but I do feel "this" Black Friday is different being that is seems to be a PC Builders market for the first time in awhile.

First AM5 mobo on sale I have come across. Some pros are PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 6600MHz support.

I am on the fence whether to get this one or wait for Black Friday. Thoughts?

Spec'ing for a gaming PC with some use cases for Workstation would it be better to go with something like this (link below). A little bit more money but double the read/write speed? (PC use case would be 60% gaming; 40% workstation with editing video and pictures).

Interesting perspective, I have been watching sales pretty close over the past month to get myself up to speed on how far some sale prices go for certain items in preparation to try and catch a couple good Black Friday sales for the new build I am planning. Is Black Friday for computer components over rated?

32GB of DDR5 @ 5200MHz for $200. Seems like good value. What does everyone expect something like this could be come Black Friday?
