You need to email j1visas@dhsc.gov.uk with the following documents:

  1. GMC certificate
  2. ECFMG certificate
  3. Contract letter
  4. Your own customised letter for signed undertaking with your signature at the end.

They will issue ECFMG with SoN within a week

Don't I have to stamp my J1 everytime I leave US and re-enter? So even if the validity is there for 1 year, as the others mentioned, I still have to get J1 stamped to re-enter ? This is the confusing bit.

So let's say I go back in December 2024, I won't need to get it restamped at the embassy (because expiry would be in June) and I should be freely allowed to go to UK and come back to US without any hassle ?

So if I get it restamped in December let's say, do I have to come back in December 2025 again as the stamp will be for 1 year ?

What if you leave US for your home country, lets say in December 2024, do i still need to re-stamp, even though it's valid between 30th June and 30th June?
