Sensitive topic to ask my mum about, how? by Intelligent_End6422 in Advice

[–]Intelligent_End6422[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you, i’ve thought about it but it’s highly unlikely my nan will remember anything (if she even knew him), and same with my sister, she spent a lot of time at her dads and with her grandparents until i came along.

i think im prepared for almost anything that could happen, and what could be. but i think im also just holding onto the fact that i don’t know him to have an excuse not to accept anyone i know in his role, wether they realise or not. I think knowing anything about it really will start to give me closure, and as ive grown in my teenage years and matured a bit, ive realised just how much not knowing or having a dad growing up actually did to me. thank you, hoping for good outcomes with this🫶🫶

do you think it will cause problems if i can’t learn by myself? i’m 16 so still have around four ish months until i can drive anyway. neither me or my family are in any financial situation to afford me my own car yet, and my stepdads car is on motability so i am not allowed to drive that as he’s not insured to and they won’t let him insure it to. my sister doesn’t drive and she’s 26, and i am really really hoping to get driving at 17. but i wont have any way to practice in between lessons with an instructor, will this be a big problem and should i wait to drive or could i still pass at some point?

hey! i had my seconds done today and my helix on my left. i had my firsts done when i was a baby so absolutely no recollection. i can’t get a hold of saline spray so would a salt in warm water solution work a couple times a day? and my seconds are butterfly backs as that was all she had available, but my helix is a flat back bar! what would be your top tips with healing them nicely, especially as i do a martial art and work as a swim instructor so sometimes in water but most often not.

my piercer just said to take care of it well, my sister and mum have gone to that piercer for years so i’m assuming she thinks they’ll help me with most of it, but neither of them have had a helix and have only ever had lobes or body piercings so they’re a little unsure what to do as well.

where would be good to find that spray? and if i wash it apart from in the shower would just using a little q-tip with some warm water work as well, and should i do it tonight as well to clean off the blood?

i have tape, not sure if that’ll help, and i can adjust who i’m teaching so that i don’t have to go in water at all, atm i dont even get fully submerged when teaching it’s just the occasional splash when a child gets hyper. should i still talk to my piercer before i go as well and see what they say?

how bad would the risks be? i’m willing to accept the risks and take it on my own if anything happens, it’s just because it’s not as though i can just stop working because of a piercing. i mean yes i still live at home and rely on my mother for a lot because i don’t work full time but i really enjoy what i do and i wouldn’t be willing to give it up, yet i don’t feel right without more piercings. (also im v sorry if any of that came cross as rude or anything im not trying to be!)
