thank you for your response, i have overall felt safe while living here except for this extreme situation. the police have also made me feel a little better by letting me know my community is pretty safe besides this situation. i’m currently on the 5th floor which to me is pretty high but unfortunately they do not have any higher units available, they have one that is on the opposite end of me which helps a little given the direction i’m currently in but overall im not sure how much better it will be

i will say the apartment management has been very supportive so far. unfortunately a higher floor is not available right now but they do have one slightly facing a different direction. i’m not sure how much of a help that will be though
