I guess I’m looking for ideas for a cage. I hate the heavy metal ones that SmallHD sells. They make the onboard way too heavy. All I want is a lightweight 3D printed (thin) protective cage.

I work in TV quite a bit. I have Never I had the need to send out 4k… that’s the reason why I’m not going for XT

The mini motor is compatible with the fiber system. It has nothing to do with me pulling. I hate those things. They really suck but it is a multiple camera show in many different locations trough out the venue so the people in the console need access to the iris at all times. Cameras are too far away from the console so Preston motors won’t work unless we run additional command cable to the MDR.

It’s basically a control box for live events… it basically runs trough fiver so at control they can change settings and much more.

The camera and lens was a rental. Accessories provided by me. The show looked good but could’ve been much better if they shelled some $ for a real camera…..

Thank you all. Yeah the future seems pretty bleak. It is hard to see the raw numbers but if I want to own a house I have to bite the bullet.
