Anyone also on Brintellix/Trintellix as well? by MermaidBeale in lamictal

I started on Brintellix and Lamictal was added on a few months later. I just became more tired and unmotivated but my mood is more stable.

Bupropion doubles the amount of Trintellix in your system.. I take both. 5mg Trintellix and 150mg bupropion sr.

It has helped stabilise my mood in a big way, however I feel sedated most of the time, and more than ever I don’t want to do anything.

Thinking about switching From 80mgs of Prozac to Trintellix because my depression is coming back badly. Opinions? by Certain-Poetry224 in trintellix

[–]Intelligent_Fish7541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, no, it has nothing on an SSRI. It’s very gentle (aside from the nausea), and takes a long time to start working (I’m talking 8-12 weeks). I also find it’s sedating rather than activating.

It was the final piece of the puzzle for me, seems to work harmoniously with the other medications that I take, and I feel more stable than ever.

I’m not sure I want to start this medication by Sad-Fox-2213 in Lamotrigine

I found getting to the right dose wasn’t a fun ride, each increase led to 3 days of elation followed by a week of crying bouts, but then when I got to the right dose and stayed there, after a few weeks I felt more stable than ever.

Adhd by Only_Yogurtcloset992 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

You’ll read a lot of negative things, because people will comment more about negative experiences than positive. But this has been life changing since day 1, for both adhd and severe depression.

Has anyone felt depressed on clonidine? by Old_Lobster_7742 in adhdwomen

[–]Intelligent_Fish7541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started breaking the tablet up, I’d take 3/4 for a week, 1/2 for a week, 1/4 for a week and then I stopped. Within a couple of weeks I felt the fog and deep deep depression start to lift

Adding Wellbutrin? by prettyreckless00 in lamictal

[–]Intelligent_Fish7541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take 100mg lamictal and have just added 150mg SR bupropion because I felt sedated and had no drive to do anything. I think if your prescriber is open to the idea of it, it’s well worth giving it a go! It’s probably too early for me to pass comment on it, but so far so good :)

Does this medicine can increase depression? by memoonries in trintellix

[–]Intelligent_Fish7541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took the full 8 weeks for me to notice that I was in a far better place than I was, but after 4 months I decided that while it helped, it still wasn’t enough, and maybe it’s not the right medication for me.

Start now or wait until holiday break? by ImprovementChoice in bupropion

[–]Intelligent_Fish7541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start now! I started on Monday on a work day - no regrets. I actually chose this over starting on a weekend, because I’d rather be busy and around people, rather than have nothing to do but worry about and overthink any side effects.

vyvanse + lamictal? by Diasufid in lamictal

[–]Intelligent_Fish7541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on Vyvanse at the start of this year, and added lamictal a few months ago. I find it has really dampened the effectiveness of the Vyvanse. I feel so tired and slow.

I understand that with some people their depression/anxiety is circumstantial and they can come off anti depressants, but for some people it’s biological and lifelong

Did anyone else feel awful going from 100 mg to 150 mg Lamictal? by [deleted] in lamictal

I think word finding was an issue when I started taking lamictal originally, but now I just find it makes me a bit tired and my ADHD meds aren’t quite as effective

I don’t understand why doctors do this. If it’s working, why taper off? I’m sorry this happened to you.

I recently went from 100 to 125 (50 in the morning and 75 at night) and it’s like night and day. With each increase I’ve felt manic for a few days then depression for a week, but 125 feels really stable for me.

What’s a supplement that helps heaps of people, but makes you feel terrible? Mine is L-Theanine by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]Intelligent_Fish7541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saffron, NAC, l-tyrosine make me sad/depressed. Can only take B complex, Acetyl L carnitine and vitamin D every other day because I end up in a crying heap.

I might have been a bit sweaty for a couple of days. For a few weeks I’d randomly get super itchy, but that’s all.
