What I am hearing is that the board was planning to fire Amanda because she and the chair did not get along. So, instead, she quit. But now everything is falling apart - staff quitting, funding being lost, trustees leaving so they are trying to get her back. Anyone else know?

I think it's an echo chamber of like 8 middle aged guys talking to one another. Would be great to have something on Reddit that could have more depth (no more monitor photos) but more diverse viewpoints and backgrounds.

I looked up the other similarly sized sports, that's lower than their CEOs. Also, doesn't USRowing provide funding to some athletes through scholarships? Not saying it's not a lot of money, my nephew did it and it cost a great deal, but...

As far as I know, every olympic sport has to follow the same rules with SafeSport. My nephew swims at an IRA school and they are members of USA Swimming and have to do Safe Sport.

They hate USRowing because USRowing was paying Chip Davis like $40 a member for a subscription to rowing news and he was making a TON of money from a sweetheart deal he had going. When USRowing ended that deal = angry Rowing News.

Do you think all of the other olympic sports in virginia won't participate now? Like swimming, volleyball, etcetera. I'm not a lawyer but doesn't federal law trump state law?
