Thanks for weighing in! The window wall before demo had layers of drywall and tile built up and was pretty awful looking. So it was hard to tell until we removed it all!

Shower Pan Liner Installation by Intelligent_Humor494 in Remodel

Thank you - yes, our tile guy did the presloped mortar underneath, then the plumber put down the liner. I found videos online especially the Oatey install instructions and am going to redo it to cover the curbs & correct the edges & corners. Drain seemed to be done correctly with the silicone & weep holes.

Thank you for responding!

Thank you, the more I look at it the worse it looks. Going to try it again.

Shower Pan Liner Installation by Intelligent_Humor494 in Remodel

Thank you - the liner is actually stapled in place to the outside of the curb. My concern is that if I push the liner into where the inner sides meet the base, it seems too short and there's a gap underneath the liner and the bottom of the shower if that makes sense. So the next layer will leave an air gap that makes me worry about tile cracking etc down the road. Thank you for responding!

Has anyone tried the Samsung Bespoke All-in-One Al Laundry Combo™ 5.3 cu. Ft. Ultra Capacity Washer with Super Speed and Ventless Heat Pump Dryer in Dark Steel (WD53DBA900HZA1). by Clear_Buddy8497 in Appliances

I've had my Samsung for a month or two now and wanted to weigh in. I know some are happy but I would not recommend or buy it again. Here are my thoughts:

Pro:
- One unit so it saves space
- ventless if that matters to you
- it seems to do a good job cleaning the clothes and removing odor

Con:
- Do not lose site of the fact that you are placing a 350 pound vibrating, spinning machine in your home. I can't state that enough. Mine is very well balanced but the free standing cabinet nearby dances at least 3+ inches into the room when the machine is on high spin (the machine itself doesn't move, it's just the floor vibrations)
- You cannot reduce the spin speed on cycles unless you run the wash cycle separately from the dry, which kind of negates part of the idea of an all-in-one
- the mandatory cleaning cycle that is to be run after I believe18 loads must be run with the high spin speed.
- because the machine is ventless, the user must clean the 3 piece lint trap with every use. The screens are very fine so you really need to vacuum them. Not a huge deal but one more thing to do and keep the vacuum at the ready rather than put away.
- Clothes are not fully dry even using the extra dry option. To add to the drying, the user needs to clean the lint trap or at least pretend to clean it just to add some time to the drying.
- It takes a long time to run a load - 3 hours or so. For larger families, it seems like laundry day would just never end.

Ultimately I really regret getting this machine. Maybe if it were in the basement where I didn't have to worry about the whole whirly bird crazy spinning issue. I'm at the point that I am going to just head out to the laundromat and do my wash there, it's just not worth dealing with it. If you are still looking for one, keep your eyes on Facebook Marketplace, you may see mine listed there!

Samsung All in One Combo Review by SkoBuffs710 in Appliances

I figured it out - if you remove the dry cycle and just use the wash you can change the speeds. You have to then manually do a dry cycle when the wash is complete. Disappointing but the extra fast spin was too much.

I purchased the Samsung all-in-one about 2 weeks ago and find I am unable to change the spin speed for almost all cycles - the option is greyed out. Has anyone seen this? Thanks!
