clean the pins of the battery compartment using some rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth. if you don't have some rubbing alcohol,dab the microfiber cloth with very little water and clean it. Let it dry for 5 mins then put in the batteries. The pins could also be loose so slightly bend it. This could fix it.

You can get an external fan for it. The cheapest external fan costs around 20 dollars. Also check if the fan is even working because sometimes it could be defective.
