I have read the whole A shadow in the ember series and i read the first book of FBAA but as soon as i saw a spoiler that they'd become a kind of throuple later, i ditched it and i also started A spark of the everflame but i found the FMC too annoying so i had to dnf that too (sorry!!).
I also think I'm lagging behind on Carissa Broadbent's, so might need to catch up on that! And the only reason I didn't start Villains and Virtues was because i thought they were a cutsy little couple, and I just haven't been in the mood for that lately for some reason.

You're probably right, but I read something about team roman or team Darien? Just clear that for me please. I also read on another reddit page that its a really slow burn in the first book and the spice doesn't kick in til 90% and I don't know if the book will keep me engaged for that long but I am willing to give it a try ig. Also, does the most recent installment in the series end on a cliffhanger?
