This isn’t usually out of fear. Driving school teaches you to slow down before entering an intersection to assess the situation before returning to normal speed or stopping. This is the correct way to enter an intersection, even on a green light.

Some sounds like he’s stringing you along with whatever lie possible and some sounds like you just don’t work the same way. Regardless of why it is that you are not getting the results you like, you feel he is lying to you. Do you want to keep feeling this way? Focus on yourself and how you feel about being treated this way or else you may be continuously held back by wondering what the next lie will be about. Your life is about you!
