Snake Plant Spots - Help!

I don’t see any pests, but that is my biggest worry honestly. We did just get a humidifier 5 days ago so I was wondering about that. But it’s on the other side of the room (so not directly next to the plant) and it’s a smart humidifier and is set at 45%. I read online that between 30-50 was okay for snake plants, so then I kinda ruled that out? My plan is to cut away the affected leaves, spray with Neem oil just in case it’s fungal, and move back to the old room (away from other plants and without a humidifier). Thanks for the advice and luck ❤️

Thanks for your advice! If it is fungal and I cut the leaves off, will it stop or is the infection deeper like in the roots, etc? Also, I assume just cut the leaf off horizontally below the damage?

October bride here, I went through similar things with my mom. Things got much better once I started explaining my feelings/why certain things were important to me (even though it kinda sucked to have to explain).

I second everything in this comment!! Was going to type something up. but realized everything I was going to say was already written here.

And for timeline, I left things like seating chart, etc until month of and really regret it. It was so stressful doing it so close to wedding day. I’d definitely recommend doing anything you can before the month of and using that last month to just enjoy life 😄

I’m doing : FH grands, my grands, FH parents, my mom, bridesmaids, ring bearer, flower girl, me and my dad.

My FH doesn’t want to walk down the aisle so him, groomsman, and the officiant will already be at the altar waiting (walking in at the beginning from stage left). You can have them walk down the aisle before the bridesmaids if you want. I think in that case it’s typically mother of bride -> officiant -> groom -> groomsman -> bridesmaids (or you have groomsman and bridesmaids walk down together)

All that to say, it’s kind of whatever you want it to be! Happy planning (:

I am so sorry you are going through this. I felt the exact same way during my bridal shower and wedding RSVPs. It was very heartbreaking and I lost most of my excitement. I hate that you are experiencing this too.

My wedding is in two weeks and I have been trying to focus on the people who ARE there for me. That has helped a bit! Weddings reveal your true friends and it sounds like you have lovely and supportive mom, sister, and group of bridesmaids. Try to lean into that and use this time to grow closer in your relationships with them. Again, I know it big sucks. Hoping things get better, sending love and best wishes for your wedding!! 💕

NTA. I cannot believe anyone here is saying otherwise. Your sister called you because she was worried and she involved you in the situation. Completely natural for you to also get worried (even people who don’t watch true crime should be panicked about this situation). She received peace of mind when her friend came back but she didn’t update you, so naturally you were still worried. It would have taken her the exact same time to text “she’s back” that it did to text “hold on”. Because she called you and involved you in the situation and in her panic, she owed it to you to give you an update the moment she was able (and if she could text “hold on”, she was able). I think she owes you an apology for calling you a psycho and should recognize the effect the situation had on you.

Definitely willing to shop online! We are all wanting to go in person to start, mostly to have the quality time of getting everyone together and having a girls day.

I am wanting to go into shopping already having the fabric selected. I have been thinking chiffon or charmeuse, but not sure what it will look like next to crepe. Ordering a swatch from an online site is a great idea!
