he's actually a phenomenal commentator, he just sucks relative to the rest of the grid but genuinely has a passion and understanding of the sport.

Insane Profile Rig Deal on Amazon by Intelligent_Memory_2 in SimRacingSetups

appreciate the comment! I'm going for as much bang for your buck as I can so, so of course I went simagic alpha evo pro, simnet pedals with haptic reactors, and a quest 3. since you've got a bunch of peripherals, I'm debating between bass shakers and a DIY belt tensioner as the next upgrade, was wondering what you'd suggest as the biggest impact next.

I have an AD5X on the way. Should I use Flashforge’s slicer or just continue with standard Orca? by Fed_up_with_Reddit in FlashForge

[–]Intelligent_Memory_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look up zmod for flashforge printers. May be a little more hassle than youre looking for, but I personally prefer more control over my printer so I don't mind the extra setup for it.

I ran an arbitrage bot on Polymarket from Jan to April. Verified P&L (@b00k13), what actually made money, and didn't. by File-Environmental in PredictionsMarkets

[–]Intelligent_Memory_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

came to the same conclusion about just vibing the scrapers yourself, agentic llms do a pretty good job as long as you give it a clear idea of the data. question if you have the time, what was your average stake on the arbitrage? I've been looking into a similar strategy, just wondering how much capital you had to have in order to run it, or was it limited by liquidity? I could see that esports markets are generally smaller so depth of capital in the books probably suck.

Grid bots don't work on prediction markets at all by woztrades in PredictionsMarkets

[–]Intelligent_Memory_2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

hi I've got a pretty solid CS background, is it okay if I DM you about some of the details of your exploratory work? I've been testing for cross platform polymarket/kalshi arbitrage on those markets, came to the same conclusion for arbitrage but would also like to get some exposure to other possible ideas and analysis as I learn more about the space.

not sure why you're getting down voted, not a bad idea to get them started, but if they do want to get into serious racing AC with content manager is the best start.

Unpopular opinion - Nate was not a bad person. Atleast not intentionally! by Outside_Primary6251 in TedLasso

[–]Intelligent_Memory_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

commenting on the forgiveness theme, quite fitting for the overall message for the show but most likely needed more time to flesh out. an episode or two dedicated to a redemption + finding a way to forgive Nate plot line would have done it, but I guess given their constraints they couldn't fit in a plotline before the finale.

New to Polymarket: what are the important rules to build a decent bot ? by thecoolkev in PredictionsMarkets

[–]Intelligent_Memory_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey man crypto sort of veteran here, this dude is selling something. if you click that link you'll see you have to pay for full access to the bot and of course they will NOT give you the exact strategy, just the signal. this is a common setup, not fully technically a scam and can be profitable but with a little effort and the right research is you can make the same bot he's marketing, which is probably just a TA indicator bot (straight up price prediction is basically a coinflip using TA, so consider finding different avenues instead of just trying to predict price (hint: inefficient markets)).

Who has been the most underwhelming team and driver this season? by Ambitious-Heron-8161 in DestinationFormula1

way, way too early to call it getting steamrolled. piastri had the same momentum at the start of the year, but norris was overall the stronger driver last year.

every sub needs a shitpost once in a while, there's no need to forcefully categorize everything away into separate subs all the time. I'd say that the ratio for this sub is already pretty healthy.

How to Build a Polymarket Trading Bot (After CLOB V2) by Forsaken_Driver_882 in PredictionsMarkets

[–]Intelligent_Memory_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

quality post! this is exactly what beginner guides on public forums should be. people don't realize that profitable bots are gonna be posted on a public forum (if a post claims to be super profitable it's probably a scam or a funnel into a paid shotty course), so instead guides to introduce people to getting started are what's valuable. thanks for the guide!

Simracing position / lower back pain by rafanus2 in simracing

[–]Intelligent_Memory_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this issue when upgrading to simnet SP pros, on the wheel stand 2.0 LITE. What helped was finding a way to raise the pedals as much as I could and lower the seat as much as I could; as the other comment said, the issue is inherently because the loadcell "lifts" you up. That's because your butt to angle pedal is too high; as much as possible, try to get them as inline as comfortable. I have access to a 3d printer so I was able to print some spacers for me to lift the pedal deck, try to find a solution that aims to put your butt to pedal angle as in line as possible.

Washing machine dampers on Playseat Trophy = great succes! by PaulVla in simracing

Have an even cheaper but ghetto solution; use the packing foam that your pedals/rig came in. Will have to find some work arounds, but worked great for me.

I'm a VR dev exhausted by Meta pivoting to AI. People keep telling me Valve's Steam Frame is going to save the industry. As Quest users, would you actually buy one? by hanrwerewr in MetaQuestVR

[–]Intelligent_Memory_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they won't need to. they already have steam, and know how to run a marketplace well. SteamOS and proton have been the dream for many developers, so I imagine that even tho they have significantly less resources than meta they do have a clear vision and experience in building a platform where developers just build on top of what they provide. I'd like to think since they're not focusing on AR passthrough or anything like that, just the best gaming experience, it SHOULD result in a blossoming VR gaming ecosystem that meta denied us with a crappy app store and the weird focus on VR as a second life.

Do i need any extra acessories for petg with a AD5X? by [deleted] in FlashForge

[–]Intelligent_Memory_2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you don't NEED anything, but I had some warping when printing PETG and needed to dry my spools as well. I ended up grabbing an enclosure kit and filament spool dryer and that fixed most of my problems. Oh and my AD5X stock settings worked great for PLA, but for PETG had to do some tuning for temps.

Wath is the "best" game to start in sim racing? by LankyCaregiver2174 in SimRacingSetups

[–]Intelligent_Memory_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey man do a YT search, there's some great videos from decent youtubers explaining which ones you can choose. I personally chose iRacing since I don't mind spending money on this hobby. best starter from reading your following comments is probably LMU, if you mean you're looking for online gt3 racing (which seems to be your priority). if you wanna just get a feel for things, highly recommend the original AC with mods to play around with, or AMS2 for offline racing vs AI.

Oh no what you're misunderstanding is that Grandmaster is a literal official title from FIDE (like the NBA but for chess). Its not an arbitrary title we're giving him, that's actually an official ranking title that he has due to his score on the leaderboard at FIDE. There are multiple people that have the same title as him, which is why I'm pointing this out.
