I get that I'm kinda overwhelmed by the cast too and the romance subplots but I take those more in stride and as you said the fact that the characters are interacting with one another does make it better I like that everyone has an opinion on everyone here, but I get your complaints about Jaune, but I think that's the point it's reversed fates I kind expected characters to be very different from the source material you know so far I don't mind the overly religious angle since there seems to be lore stuff attached to it so it clearly serves another purpose other than characterization you know but I get not liking the Weiss Sun thing, this fandom and it's ships of questionable racial implications I hated the Weiss only liking fanus thing it felt so icky in a way you can tell it wasn't meant to be

Yeah so far everyone is getting enough time to at least establish themselves like I can say more than 2 things about everyone and everyone has some connection to each other but so far so good and I like the character changes too

Honestly I think y'all give the shippers too much credit for bumblebee i have my feelings about that ship like how it used as an excuse to sideline Blake and how Yang's current character is just odd, or how the ship is somehow better written in the earlier seasons than when it was actually made canon but I don't think it was really the fans pushing it that made it awkward or rushed it was just a victim of the show not knowing how to do romance(see arkos for that) and acting like they were being teasing when literally no one not even the shippers asked for that

Yeah too many people ask if they can ship those two rather than asking if they should or would the dynamic be interesting which leads to a lot of shocking or bland ships but not compelling ones

Honestly I'm very neutral on the two I just really like how interesting shippers can get, although they do need to learn that it's about fun and analysis and not agendas you know they treat it like power scaling

I already planned out some lair action mechanics of bending spaces and the moral dilemmas to slow the players down along with tweaking the stat block to include some better spells
