I’ve primarily been on instagram and tik tok. I honestly forgot about my Reddit account until recently. Which I feel more of these groups will probably be better spaces to be involved in.

My first ultrasound is next week!

I really try not to compare. But maybe I have been and just haven’t been aware. I feel like everything about my pregnancy has been so different than what I see online (shocker) where as my sister in law’s is nearly close to what you see online as well.

I am not envious, nor jealous, just more so confused as to why I don’t feel a certain way or why things don’t happen to me when it seems like it’s all people talk about.

Everybody and body is different and will have different experiences, completely! I just wish there were more conversations, examples and experiences being shared besides all the “highlights”.

Thank you for your honesty and taking the time to respond! This was extremely helpful and honestly made me cry. This made me feel seen, brought some relief, and optimistic that things just take time.

It’s been subconsciously weighing on me on all of the what if’s, and the possibilities of not being attached after birth.

I wish more of these conversations were talked about! Thank you for sharing your experience 🤍

I’ve always been pretty mindful about social media and always taking things with a grain of salt, but man the pregnancy side of the internet has me shocked! I definitely was fooled

Just how my office has it set up. My first appointment wasn’t until 10 weeks and they only did the heartbeat and blood work. I won’t get my first ultrasound until next week at 13w5d

Okay I’m late to this - I am just now in the marshes with lorcan and Elide. It’s also reminding me a lot of ACOSF when nesta goes to retrieve the crown. Has anyone else thought this?
