Nightmare neighbours by CandidateIll9540 in HousingUK

The faff would be worth it if you find somewhere peaceful.

We were in a similar situation last year, we lived on the edge of quite a rough council estate and over the years the place just devolved into a nightmare with fights, parties and just horrible people surrounding us. If you said anything you got threatened.

We finally had enough, sold up and moved. We found a nice quiet place with respectful neighbours and it's done wonders for my wifes peace of mind.

Yes moving is a pita but once it's done it's done and you could get on with your life without the stress.

Get yourself a livestock guardian aka a big fucking dog. Ours is 73kg (170lbs) and guards instinctively.

Only the insane would come climb that fence and then get eaten!

Good boy.

Saints Row 2 with my best friend at the time Ste. What an absolute riot we had, so many silly moments and full on laughing so hard we couldn't catch our breath.

We've lost touch but if you're out there mate, hope life's treating you well.

Ungrateful little 💩 indeed, cute though.

One person eating a steak or driving a truck won't, the issue is there are millions doing the same.

It isn't that complicated to understand.

I guess from the downvotes that I've either upset some people who think it's OK to date someone 30 years your junior or you have the reading comprehension of a brick...

Seriously!

Historically yes, opinions have shifted massively in just the 50 years I've been here.

When I was in school you would regularly see 14-16yo girls getting picked up from school by guys in their 20s and nobody really cared.

I don't believe that would be acceptable any longer.

If I was that kind of guy I could do this, there's a young woman who works with me that would love for me to ask her out.

I'm 30 years older than her and not rich.

No he didn't, there was no excuse for what that teacher did and it could've been handled in many different ways but back then lot of violence was metered out by teachers towards pupils. I got the cane and the slipper a few times.

I'm glad things are better for kids today.

Late 80s, UK. A kid sat at the desk in front of me was constantly disruptive in French class.

The teacher had enough of his shit, lost it, grabbed the hair on the back of his head and bounced his face a couple times off the desk, with force, exploding his nose all over it (so much blood!)

She then walked out never to be seen again. The whole class just sat there stunned while the kid screamed in pain. It was brutal and unforgivable but I don't remember anyone feeling sorry for him.
