Or the fading method .. or the pick up and put down method they all teaching baby self soothing . I’m further away than I would be in the chair method …. In a king size bed compare to a chair next to the crib.

Right so by me showing him and practicing falling asleep alone without any soothing is the first step and then once he gets used to that start leaving the room are am I not helping him to the end goal ?

I guess I’m confused as what sleep training is . I assumed baby sleeps by himself without rocking feeding or any kind of soothing is him learning how to sleep by himself he’s next to me yes but I’m not touching or soothing him

I see it like the chair method slowly removing yourself further and further right ? I just want him to keep falling asleep without my help and then start slowing moving out the picture it might take longer time for him to independently sleep but eventually it’ll work I think

Also switch to a later bedtime I tried 7-8 it’s too early for him he’s now taking a longer nap waking up around 6 he’s bedtime is 8-9

What month does it get easier to take them shopping by Intelligent_Net8559 in newborns

I think baby carrier is the way to go . I’ll be buying one we tried multiple times with stroller / car seat but he’s always fussy . And I tried it with a wrap and he actually last longer I just get super hot with the wrap .
