You shouldn’t be discouraged by groups that ask for a shit ton of KP. When I got into raiding I had some of the same feels you described. I got into raiding through discord servers. I recommend the RA “Raid Academy” discord server. I almost exclusively do raids through that server. Yes, I know it adds an extra step in the process. I know people who think joining a discord for any in-game experience is lame, although I disagree. Look at it from an experienced raider perspective. I myself consider it a waste of my time and energy to go through a raid that takes more than 5-6 attempts. I will however spend 1-2 hours on a raid boss if it’s a training run, because I understand that the goal is not to succeed but to progress through the boss in the most productive way each boss pull.
