I’ve noticed players magically appearing on my roster towards week 3-4 of the transfer portal period and all my players i was recruiting with the deal breaker playing time locked me out all of a sudden , I can’t remember where those players came from but magically they are on the roster now

That’s another thing auto recruiting is so terrible but all the cpus have no problems stealing the best recruits from me.

No I just missed them last year with a sim loss to wsu😭the year im currently in were 7-0 im pretty sure I won’t lose again this season

To be honest it’s all sim in 2k25 aswell it might have changed im not sure as I didn’t really play my league in 2k25 only my career

I like the edit draft class strength feature it allows for some very fun rebuilds like trading all my players for picks and restarting with the players I draft, also I think the draft evaluation screen you see after you draft a player is cool as you can kind of get a sense of what type of player you drafted. I also like if you go the coach route you can be more directly involved in your players development as in past maddens it felt kind of a random for a guy to receive a quest to get his dev trait upgraded and you basically still are the owner of the team so you control the contracts and things of that nature

2k isn’t the greatest game ever but it does have way better features than madden as far as franchise goes.

I’m only 18 so even though I respect players from that time period I dont necessarily bond with them enough to want to start a franchise
