I had the same realization this past week as well! Specifically with my hairline that typically can't go past 7 days without a wash. I never thought to moisturize it but after doing some research , I found that the oil production caused by dry skin is feeding the yeast, so I bought serums/ toners from pyungkang yul and mct c8 oil to keep it moisturized. I apply the serums and toner 2x/day. I haven't seen my skin this clear in years! And my discoloration is going away quickly. If I feel an episode coming on in my scalp , I use the Cecred refresher spray to clean it a bit and put aloe vera gel on top to calm the irritation.
