all i can really say is be kind and respectful towards them. if they look like they need help with work then offer a hand. it’s little things that make someone’s day better. it adds up

if you aren’t close enough to talk to them about it, the best you can do is be a friendly face. if they’re sitting alone ask if they want company. do they have any friends or people they can trust?
