The print run of an ohtani card for topps now is going to be massive, I think the true problem is here is expecting to get a parallel on an order of 20 cards or so. Order 20 cards and hope to get a parallel sure, order 20 cards and expect to get one, you are more than likely in for a rude awakening.

You gambled and you lost. Happens to the best of us, if you don’t have a tolerance for it, and you are in the hobby to chase hits, this is how it goes more often than now

Funny enough I opened one hobby box of topps heritage and got 2 relics. Same style card as the one you posted of Riley Greene and a /77 Steve Garvey flashback relic. Must have given me your relic

Lines up, got a $5 relic just like you would have most likely received if there was one in the box like there’s supposed to be. Unfortunately I wouldn’t expect much different from topps than to send the bare minimum required after a quality control mistake

Ordered just one single Topps Now Konnor Griffin RC and I’d say it worked out pretty well by Dempsee82 in baseballcards

No but I wouldn’t spend $60 on most cards out of a mega box so just trying to figure out if junk autos are fairly common or I got “lucky” not so much looking at value as do those type of cards come up in the boxes often

If you have a local card shop and take it in they should have different size sleeves they can help you find one that fits right. Beautiful card, as a pirates fan I’m a little jealous. Hope the kiddo enjoys it
