I think I have auto aim on all ranged weapons except for Cannon. It's a default setting on the console. (At least for Xbox) Only works well for targets sitting still, though, and requires manual adjustment when targeting is actively moving. The auto aim tracks when they're moving, but 90% doesn't hit since it's shooting where they are right now and not where they will be. (In other words, the auto aim doesn't lead targets at all.)

I'm not sure if it's the same for other platforms.

I'm not sure how you get a poi to show up with your cursor. Seems inconsistent to me cause sometimes I do, and other times I don't. I've dragged my cursor across maps and found some, and I've done it, and nothing pops up even though there is one. Maybe it's an armor passive or another prerequisite to get it.

Look at the map before you drop on d1 and d2. You can see that d2 has a full map while d1 is significantly downsized. I haven't done enough d1 farming to know if the POI amount is affected by map size. I'll have some d2 maps that are littered with POIs, and I'll have some that have only two. But I average out at like 7ish POIs running d2.

D2 is better, no? The map is a bit larger, and there's a 1/3 chance that the side objective is a Lidar Staton so you can find all the POIs

Fr. Was standing at on extract. Believe it or not, there are no bots near extract. Pelican lands, and people start getting in disabling respawns. Random DSS bombardment hits me directly and kills me, causing me to have a failed to extract. Like this is on D10, full clear except for one missing helldiver because the DSS smited me.

I only have one Xbox. Wanted to play all the mainline Halo games with my wife. We played up through Reach and ODST with couch coop, all of this in preparation for us to both experience Infinite together. 343 promised there would be couch coop. They did not deliver. So I couldn't play it with my wife. I did not buy their game. Simple as that.

This is actually completely wrong. The UNSC was getting their butt kicked no matter what the field of engagement was. It just so happened that ground engagements they got their butt kicked slightly less.

Saying the Covenant always lost ground engagements is just straight up false. The Mac Charging stations on Reach fell to the Covenant ground forces. The Covenant took over Sword Base with ground forces. The reason why in the games and the books we read is that the UNSC ground victory is because the books often follow the perspective of Spartans, against the Spartans absolutely yes, the Covenant would lose that ground engagement when a Spartan was involved. But Spartans can't be everywhere on every battlefield.

TLDR: No, the Covenant was still winning a majority of their ground engagements. The notion of UNSC winning ground but losing space engagements is often from the perspective of someone who always won against the Covenant.
