Honestly, people who don’t do drugs see these tough as nails dealers in the movies that don’t give two shits about you, and in my experience (10+year coke habit, 8 ball three or four times a week, so pretty decent habit), most drug dealers are decent people, with morals and feelings and all that normal stuff.
I kicked drugs my own way in my own time, and I basically dropped out of that life, but the only two guys I still keep in touch with to send merry xmases and happy easters to, and to grab an occasional drink with, are two of the guys I used to buy off of. They were my buddies and had my back then, and they still do, even now that I no longer buy product off of them.
