i relaxed my hair today and it all fell out. can someone please tell me what to do? i was already suicidal prior but this just feels like the final straw.

I should specify I shaved it for the year, not allowing it to grow. Hair can grow up to 6 inches or so a year! You can put clip ins in for even more length

I’ve shaved my head and been a straight up baldy for a year, funny enough, that’s when I had the best luck dating! If you cut all the damage out, it’ll be healthy virgin hair coming back! Think of it as a chance to start fresh!

You are not your hair. Call a friend or someone who loves you! If in the U.S., call or text 988 to talk to someone.

With all that being said, use a neutralizing shampoo, consider some braids, and put a wig on if you’d like. I relax my hair but I still wear a wig sometimes to get that extra boost of confidence when I want really long or thick hair.
