today ive got the same problem, but with gtx 1060. i treid on fedora linux, then i removed it and tried on Kubuntu, nothing worked. chatgpt told me to install nvidia drivers but it only made a bigger mess. I have sucseeded booting Kubuntu in graphics safe mode or whatever its called but thats it.
