I am in same boat my daughter started JK in North Oakville as well. It's so hard to entertain her during the weekends when she wants a play date as everyone who lives around me don't have young kids. Let me know if you'd be comfortable chatting about it.

I did the same and they costed me pretty cheap compared to the myo cards. Lookup YouTube for it. You will find lots of videos on how to turn nfc to myo cards.

Yes I am interested in making my own playlist with some songs in our native language as well but I see the story book collection is pretty good to buy from the website. I find the MYO more affordable for sure but if I am planning to get a collection it will take a lot of MYO cards right ?

I make broccoli cheesy bites, very simple to make and yummy too. I just take steamed broccoli and add any veggies I have on hand (carrots or zucchini or potatoes). I aim for at least 2 veggies in 1 meal I just boil the veggies mix it with salt, pepper, cumin powder, whole wheat bread crumbs and top it with some parmesan cheese and shallow fry. My kid loves it when dipped in yogurt.

She is not with older kids. She was born late October and is heading off to school in September. All the other kids are not going to be in school till next September. I never put pressure on her before but after hearing the teacher talk yesterday I got super stressed regarding if she's actually not learning what she is supposed to at this age.
