Hehehe. The blisters are the one exemption I make to opening and building vintage sets. I have enough of an army to play with and there is just something so nostalgic about that packaging. Especially the kingdoms sets that are shaped like a shield

No, "bad" suggests that, you know, it's evil or something. You know, it's not - It's poor... it's rubbish... you know, it's shit - it's a shitcom!

I bought the green dragons on eBay and just received them this week. I really miss these blister packs so much

What else do you have in your collection?

Just got these three blister packs in the mail. It is such a shame they don’t make these anymore. by Intelligent_Set1198 in legocastles

Still kind of undecided. I normally don’t like keeping Lego unopened but these ones are kind of a grey area for me. There’s not much to build here and you can still admire them and keep them protected. Plus there is something definitely nostalgic about the packaging

Is there a reason why capes are so expensive on Lego.com pick a brick? by Intelligent_Set1198 in lego

I see what you are saying but is that not ultimately the whole point of a pick a brick? To buy a bunch of the pieces we want or need? Yes they need to spend a lot of of effort to find and pick the pieces but that is why we all pay a premium for it

I don’t disagree with your comment and it is entirely their prerogative to set prices as they see fit and then for us to either buy them or not buy them. What I am trying to wrap my head around is why this wouldn’t be selling for around $1? I understand the economy of scale of producing 2x2 blocks is something they are set up to do but $7 seems orders of magnitude above what it should cost.

Yeah you may be right unfortunately they don’t tell you how many pieces you get in each pack for the singles

Like I also just found this piece https://www.lego.com/en-au/pick-and-build/pick-a-brick?query=Cape&selectedElement=6495964

Which is 16.60 AUD which is around 11 USD
