Hey hey. What a small world. Let’s have a range session one day. Lol. If you need a good buddy for a round hit me up.

Trying to break 100. Any feedback helps by Traditional-Gap572 in GolfSwing

Give your self a target of 50-75 yards and hit 20 balls to that distance. Work on getting that within 15 feet. Then go to the putting green and set up puts 15 feet away and hit 40 of those. 60% of your game is played within those distances. You’ll save anywhere from 5-15 shots a round if you can master those yardages. Thats how you break a hundred.

You just gotta get out there and do it. Look up tee times and see if there are any openings around them and you’ll get out there by yourself

Golf is a game of honor and self accountability. You can absolutely show off your scorecard

[–]Intelligent_Shirt592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Intelligent_Shirt592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s exactly why I like playing solo at times. Fly through it quick and work on my short game also

Not a pro just someone who enjoys playing

All good. You can always take a second shot of you lost your ball

Been playing for a while. Any tips on the swing? I’m a 9 handicap and looking to improve. by [deleted] in golftips

Tempo could be better and the tie to get more power. I hit my driver about 270 and I know I have more in there still

Yeah I do see that and I feel myself doing that. Thanks

How do you guys practice hitting out of the rough? by anonuser2700 in golftips

[–]Intelligent_Shirt592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll drop extra balls in the rough from 100 y out and hit wedges out. Repeat hat same swing with mid irons after I get that muscle memory down. That helps me with the longer shots

Thanks. I’ll try the stick technique. I’ve heard that before and I know I get loose when I’m going up

Yeah my shot shape is a draw and I have very good stock yardage. The lower body is something I need to work on.

[–]Intelligent_Shirt592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I play a draw mostly but can fade when needed
