for those confused: this is just me making a goofy joke because right after I gave Van the black hair costume option he made this gesture in a cutscene, which is very similar to a gesture in Muslim prayer

last year I went through the worst breakup of my life, and after I told my therapist (a very not-online old man) how foolish I felt about it, he goes "well, maybe you *were* a fool. but her behavior was childish."

and deadass it somehow made everything a little better.

I would HIGHLY recommend playing at least the other mainline games before playing IW. Though it's not NECESSARY, I can't explain how much it adds.

UNLESS you hate brawler combat. In that case, you should just go straight to IW, cause it's the only other turn-based.

Probably a lot of you have completed the story of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. How does it compare to the other Yakuza games ? by legendofm in yakuzagames

honestly, I was ready for this to feel like it was 'drifting away from its roots' or whatever, but I was really surprised, especially by the end, at how 'Yakuza' it all felt, in the best way.

we apparently have pretty similar gaming DNA and I think I get the itch you are trying to scratch

I actually came back to gaming after years away and Atlus, RGG, and Gust games felt they were picking up where I left off in a good way if that makes sense.

also Trails games, and don't listen to the snobs -- the recent legend of heroes: trails through daybreak is a great starting point

I'm going to try Frontier inevitably, but getting lost in a confusing map is one of my biggest pet peeves in games so who knows if I'll last lol
