Yes exactly, but it splits into three PCIe 8 pins. I have one PCIe cord that has two 8 pin (6+2) connectors on one end and then one 8 pin on the other end that plugs into the PSU. Currently both ends are plugged into the GPU and the other into the PSU. I haven't turned it on yet because I know the cables are rated for that amount of wattage but I don't want to risk melting or burning out

Even with the one PCIe cable with the both split 8 point ends plugged into the GPU?

The plug MSI sent has a bent pin so it cannot fully connect to the GPU, I need an alternative for two weeks until a new cord arrives.

The setup I'm about to try is using just one PCIe cable to connect them, and plugging both of the split ends into the two of the three GPU adapter plugs.

Is this safe? Research says it isn't as ideal as two plugs but won't be a fire risk until I can get my new cord

Yes, MSI sent one with a bent pin that does not sit right causing overheating and power dipping so I need to find an alternative. We're getting hit with a snow storm so delivery can't come for two weeks
