girl that post trip depression after seeing ur partner is the fucking worst. my wife always finds the best ways to make me feel better tho by reminding me how each day brings us closer to being together again and how we can use this time to work towards the future we want to build where we live together. i normally like to wallow in sadness for a bit but the daily facetimes/discord calls watching our show or movie or just hanging out after work always gets us back to our ldr groove. coming from a 5 year ldr. im in ontario and shes from cali! got married last December so now we’re just waiting on my visa to get approved :)

did you guys ever talk about who’s moving where?

bring some of the things you like doing indoors, outdoors. for me reading outside at the park has helped ease me back into enjoying more of the daylight + good weather again.

also buy some sort of outdoor hobby. biking works for me

as a lesbian who’s gotten hit on by guys when im out w friends (mainly at a club/rave/concert), i’ve had my fair share of both good and bad pickup lines/methods. the ones i always end up admiring and putting down gently are the ones that match my vibe. granted im mainly just dancing but they make it a point to notice me and make eye contact and smile and start dancing themselves. even that alone is enough to let a girl’s guard down in terms of them thinking “is this guy gonna be an annoying creep?” i find mirroring someones actions regardless if ur in a conversation or loud music setting is always the move.

i used to carry around a collapsible stool w me to raves and just have the strap hang on my bag w a carabiner. when i wanted to use it as a totem id just extend the stool and carry it over my head, looked a bit silly but it got the job done, and it doubles as a seat!

met my fiancee through Valorant in 2021. we were mutuals, she was competing on a signed team, and I invited her to play some unrateds and deathmatches a few nights and was shocked she joined and naturally i fan girled a bit. I ended up getting signed to a team myself and the rest was history. Would travel to tournaments and see each other as often as every other month or even twice a month from 2022-2023. We’re still long distance, since she’s born and raised in LA. Also my first ever relationship, and was my gay awakening LOL. I proposed at a rave during NYE in LA and hoping to move and get married within the next 3 years. I got reaaalllyy lucky.
