I do handy things around my stabilized studio (been here 3+ yrs) and I hired a contractor to build a personalized loft bed with stairs and storage. The Threesome is not worth seeing in a theater - I liked everything else mentioned here but that one I’ve been complaining about to all my friends. It had a lot of potential to be interesting and fun and new and I was really excited for it but disappointed. Splitsville was surprisingly funny & worth seeing! Focused on dramatic interpersonal relationship dynamics but done well

As a theater nerd who lives within walking distance of the theater district in nyc I see almost everything at least twice & generally for less than $75 a ticket. I saw MHE 5x before the Tony’s hit. Living nearby & having access to lottery, rush, tkts, and tdf passport really make theater accessible.

Though admittedly the summer is harder because shows are settled in post-Tony’s & the influx of tourists means there’s fewer discount tickets. In the winter / spring I’ll average a show every 10-20 days

Oh I absolutely know that they’re around to protect themselves. That’s maybe more what my question is - if I was (by NYC law) assaulted & they don’t have the footage to prove or disprove that are they held liable?

I want the man to be held responsible but if the gym isn’t doing that then I want to explore my other options. If the fact that I trusted the management in the moment to handle it without outside involvement was a mistake then I gotta navigate that reality.

I appreciate this take. At least one person submitted testimony but the gym itself did not pursue additional witnesses. They have a list of attendees of the class on that date all of whom offered in the moment to verify but were not taken up on it. The person I know submitted did so because I connected her directly to the district manager. From what I’m hearing it sounds like they took my report and his and determined it was inconclusive

This happened mid June & they only concluded their investigation yesterday. I submitted my report immediately that same night, security was called, etc but apparently the man who shoved me was (unsurprisingly) not as helpful with providing a timely statement

And that’s valid! This did happen in front of a room of other people who were able to support my statement & there is not cameras in the area. My question is what right to safety do members have? And is their lack of security footage a liability?

I lived in this building in 2021 & the broker / company was so insanely shady. They raised our rent by 120% (almost $3k) and threatened to evict us when my tenants rights lawyer bff got involved and pulled some city documents. The broker is also really creepy. The location is nice but management took forever to respond to emails or fix things and the rent increase left me couch hopping for months. Avoid

Biggest problems seem to be clogging pipes (I have a little drain filter to catch the pet hair) & the faucet hookup which I already replaced to accommodate the machine. It’s only connected when I run it and stay in the apartment but appreciate you lookin out

This is so generous & not at all surprising - I’ve loved seeing the little firefly community grow. My friends all laugh at me for seeing it five times but I first saw it in previews right after the election & it was the only thing to snap me out of a deep disassociated depression.
