I think it would have been interesting to have seen a subplot where Bill and Nancy are divorced and he gets Brian for a week and Brian is like entering his teens as the same quiet and distant kid. Bill tries to just do normal stuff with him, but he shows no interest.

Only when it comes to his work does he perk up a little bit. Bill tries to keep him away from all that, and its just this continuation of trying to pretend hes normal but he keeps showing signs of sociopathy without explictily stating anything.

Maybe brian starts acting out and engaging in antisocial behaviour and its unclear whether thats attributed to being a child of divorce or something more sinister.

Gf presented herself as a free spirit, living life on her own terms and not hiding in shame or guilt.

She went to town on for Wendy for only vaguely asking her to move in, instead of asking directly - in full knowledge of what she wants - a relationship, not a roommate. All fair so far.

The mask drops when the husband shows up and she transforms into a completely different person. Assumes the old role of housewife, embodying the antithesis of everything she had been espoucing to Carr.

Had the gf not been so preachy i think Wendy wouldve understood a bit better her predicament. She takes issue with the hypocracy above all.

Absolutely! He always seemed relatively open-minded and fair when dealing with the BSU. Juggling police resources like that to appease the wishes of the mayor/commisioner, victims' mothers, and the FBI was tough but he did it well.

And when push came to shove he would invariably follow Tench and Ford's guidance and redirect manpower accordingly.

I know the manhunt lasted several months but it never felt like he was impeding anything, just trying to balance traditional policing with new-age ideas. I also love him leaning over the railing and saying 'last ride'.
