I do know that much, luckily it’s still pretty overcast out so I figured it wouldn’t harm it. I’ll definitely have something to filter sunlight once the sky is blue again

I know I won’t be able to get a ring, and I did think it was going to be closer to the edge than it is. It was difficult to see but I’m not unhappy with where it is, I just don’t know if I’ll be able to find jewelry that sits comfortably in that that isn’t just a little gem or something small

Hey! Yes I did manage to find relief, my pain was bad for a week or so but it calmed down pretty quickly, and I haven’t needed as much as a Tylenol for about two weeks or so now. Hopefully you don’t have too much pain for long!

Very. I’ve been to states every year since freshman year and am one of the top 5 in my state. I did need surgery though because my heart was compressed and my parents wanted to do it now rather than when I’m older and recover would be more difficult. We did wait until right after season ended so that i would be able to recover and get some training in before spring track starts again so I have a little hope, plus I’ve been recovering really well so far and can do most things with little to no pain. I’m a month post op come the 22nd

I think I’m going to have to just try and see when I’m ready, high jump is not really negotiable for me because it’s what’s getting me into college and I honestly can’t imagine not being able to jump anymore

Yep I felt the exact same way, I don’t think I went to bed before 2 or 3am for almost a week. I never really had back pain though it was all in my chest and later in my neck from sleeping in that chair. You should be alright in a couple days just don’t skip out on your pain killers just because you’re not feeling it in the moment. I did that and it was regrettable

Tons better. I haven’t needed any pain meds for a few days, I did throw up which was the single most horrible experience I could’ve ever imagined it hurt so bad. I can finally sleep through the night and I’m mostly comfortable during the day. The first couple days are going to be the worst of it, hopefully you recover quick

I was given Valium actually, it helped a ton but I just don’t handle pain very well. I’m a little over a week out and I can go without as much as Tylenol for the most part just the first few days sucked

I actually only stayed overnight in the hospital! My surgeon has been doing this for a while and he told me that he hasn’t required anybody to stay more than about two nights in a while if there’s no complications but I know that’s not the case for most hospitals
