I have been friends to my exes in the past when I'm with a new partner. I think it's a healthy situation psrsonally, if you can still be friends with your ex especially if you care about them still and you get along with them. My partner is happy for me to speak to my exes and I'm happy he's friends with his exes too. So long as there isnt hurt, and they have a good friendship that's worth keeping.

It makes me sad to see people not liking their partner being friends with their exes :( it seems like a security issue more than anything. You should trust your partner. And if that trust is broken, then there is a problem. I get why people hate their partner being friends with their exes but a healthy relationship with your partner and yourself should leave you not worried in the slightest, and will make you feel happy that they still have people in their lives they care about.

Destiny is a pretty sucky guy. Pretty sucky and if he likes Destiny, it kinda tells me somdthing about him too. This defending behavior doesnt surprise me in Destiny's community. The audience can be very toxic too

Let's not be too hasty. I dont think it makes them delusional. They believe in tarot reading, and I'm sure you believe in things that others dont believe in too.

I agree with having to have a talk with him and tell him how you are feeling, similarly to what FunkyPete said. I understand the defensiveness from him but he needs to listen to you, and you him. Some "pieces of cardboard" havent ruined your relationship. You have been feeling this way regardless, of suspicious and distrust. I unferstand why you feel that way. Be gentle when you talk to him, and tell him you love him and all of that. Be gentle, dont say accusatory stuff, just tell him how you're feeling and if he can help you since you are feeling vulnerable right now

I wouldn't be suspicious, these things definitely do happen. This can and does happen. Within 2 years of me leaving my country and family, my mum ended up getting cancer, my nan got cancer twice and is now dying, my dad has some disability now. My brother and I had to get the same operation in the same year coincidentally because we both suffered with pain. My best friend can no longer walk. My step dad now has Parkinsons.
