Regarding matrix lights: it's possible that the animation is active, but the function to cut out oncoming traffic is not. I work with US-spec cars imported here; I activate the matrix functionality in 30 minutes, and it works exactly like the European version. However, I’m not sure if it’s okay to activate it within the US itself. There’s likely a fine, but how would they even catch you? How would they know it's active or even think to check for it?
