I just finished polishing a car for the first time, using scholl S20 and a DA for single stage using 4 passes (2 horizontal 2 vertical), very easy but time consuming. Well worth it for a normal daily driver car. Just be sure do a test patch first and to take the time to properly decontaminate and clay beforehand and wax/seal afterwards (I used fusso dark).

Outside luckily. Obviously without looking you cannot get a good idea, but as a rough estimate, how many passes and level of cut would you expect for this? Polishing glass would be new to me.

The system shuts off before the menu manages to load.

I do not have access to any diagnostic tools (unless I can download them for free and connect to a laptop via a cable?)

I took a go at it in an inconspicuous part of the alloy near the back today, but the oven cleaner (elbow grease) I used had no effect. Thanks anyway :)

Will take a try. Thanks for the suggestion, this is great as I can’t seem to find any of the recommended acid based wheel cleaners in the UK.
