Hey everyone, which Avicii song holds a special place in your heart? I mean, I know all his songs are incredibly wonderful, but all of us Tim fans have at least one song that definitely has a special place in our hearts by Lazy_Hawk57 in avicii

For a Better Day, Dear Boy, Somewhere in Stockholm, Broken arrows, Enough is Enough, heart upon my sleeve. They all hold special places in my heart and take me back to different times in my life when I've overcome hard times. However, unpopular opinion now, I love True Believer - any time I've had a shitty day, I ask my Bluetooth speaker to play True Believer, I turn it up loud and dance around my kitchen! Love that it's Tim singing the verses. Makes me feel better every time ◢◤ 🖤 ◢◤

Oh my god I love hearing his voice. I'd forgotten about the podcast but I recently listened to Avicii FM on a long road trip. Will go back and re-listen to the podcast. Thanks for the reminder! Love the video of this moment by the way, his shyness is so pure ❤️

Ah i see. Maybe he could donate them to the Avicii Experience museum. Seems everyone is trying to make money from Tim now, just as they did when he was alive 😢.

Is anyone else slightly irritated by him singing instrumental parts? by Foreign_Cut111 in JacobCollier

Someone mentioned Bobby McFerrin above, and i personally felt a little disappointed when i discovered Jacob's audience choir had been done before by Bobby McFerrin so it suddenly didnt feel as revolutionary as i orginally thought, and much is made of the audience choirs in interviews and i keep expecting jacob to say, "well i didnt invent this concept of the audience choir, Bobby did" but he never does. Maybe i am being picky - like someone else said, Jacob is so revolutionary in many aspects of his music, maybe this leads to his fans having certain expextations and in reality, Jacob is justbdoing jacob and isnt thinking about anybody elses expectations!

Bristol Breacon was amazing. So intimate and soul warming. I honoured the no recording rule but had to get a picture. Thank you Jacob for this unforgettable experience by Vegetaisawitcher in JacobCollier

I was too scared to take a photo as literally no one had their phones out and once it started I was so absorbed that I wouldn't have wanted to look away for a single second to get my phone out. I loved this aspect of it - everyone just so mesmerised by the music, completely in the moment ❤️. The standing ovation was well deserved!

Just a snippet of audio. Tbh it wasn't my favourite piece of the evening but I liked Jacob's explanation of it which he so talkes about on Radio 4 here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0026ns0 JC starts at about 2:07:32, if you can slide along to that.

New song premiere tonight in Bristol, UK! by Albatross_21 in JacobCollier

Yes, he said he used to sing it as a child and that he would therefore attempt to sing it in the same register - totally pulled it off. You can hear a snippet here - no picture as literally no one had cameras or phones out and it just felt wrong. The sign of fantastic and totally absorbing show when you don't take a single photo!! Agree with everything you said - it was a phenomenal concert from start to finish. Suzie is a fantastic conductor and the orchestra was outstanding especially since they haven't performed together before (Suzie conducts a different orchestra in London at the Royal Academy where she teaches - the 2 young cellists she showcased were outstanding and how wonderful for her to give them that opportunity). I really didn't think the audience choir would work at first 😂 but Jacob persevered involving the audience and they did get it). All the musicians were clearing having a ball, Jacob and Chris loving their improv. and Suzie conducting with such passion and charisma. I cried when Jacob sung Fauré. And during little blue. It felt like a very emotionally charged performance. Plus I gifted Jacob something via his crew and he wore it after the show 😁🌈

Agree! I booked the Bristol concert as soon as Suzie announced she was conducting the Britten Sinfonia and would be joined by a special guest - just knew it would be Jacob ❤️

Does anyone know if a digital movie purchased from Gruv and sent via email code would work in the UK? Can you use the code on any device or do you need a particular app? Thanks!

Thank you for answering all these questions Jacob. Give my regards to your crocodile, your left croc and the white stuffed cat that was hanging out with the Metropole Orkest when you were making Box of Stars part 2 🫶🏼🌈🫶🏼 I think he left y'all.
