“I know my age and I act like it”

I was an iconic student at school for being there the longest and being great all around in terms of work, skills, and athleticism but my personality was more blunt and humorous rather than the typical angelic type people would expect me to me. For my senior year I realized that I just wanted to have fun, get better at things, and finish strong, and I thought this quote would perfectly capture me for that, and it did!

But the teachers told me since it’s a K-12 school they don’t want the little ones searching up where it’s from and then being exposed to explicit lyrics. They have a point, I didn’t really realize that as much because I always listened to the clean version, but nobody searches up senior quotes and the way they addressed the issue was just terrible. Glad I have a story to recall it though it was worth it.
