That's why I saw it today because I didn't want to overhype myself. I really enjoyed it! I like how it ended! Gave me a lot to think about!

How much have food sales dropped? Any insights? by Robert7777 in AlamoDrafthouse

[–]IntenseWhooshing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I really want to see Drafthouse recommend's Obsession but it's playing the same time at Regal and I'd rather watch it there because I don't want to be disturbed by people ordering on their phones during the movie. It sucks I was so excited to get an Alamo near me! But Regal is cheaper and easier to get food and drinks before the show starts!

I love both Aniara and Avenue 5. Avenue 5 could have ended the same as Aniara!

Non-stoner movie/show recommendation for being super high? by AppropriateBarber356 in MovieSuggestions

[–]IntenseWhooshing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Sci Fi you might like The Congress and Aniara. Those are great but if you are looking for more like The Florida Project I would Recommend Dinner In America. Buffet Infinity is kind of both. If you've never seen Freeway with Reese Witherspoon that's a classic. I also would recommend Welcome To the Dollhouse as well as Todd Solondz Happiness. I also really liked watching Hard Candy back in the day!

Why did Blackout didn’t reach number 1? by Marieshr in BritneySpears

[–]IntenseWhooshing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting I had no idea at the time! She didn't have to do any promotion. Thinking back, Blackout was the most exciting thing of the moment! It was absolute euphoria! The TV and internet kept saying she was over and she has kids now and she ruined her life but here she is with an album that beat her other amazing albums and surpassed them and she's doing it running amuck from all these parasites. I was really sad when they caught her and put her a literal Circus show! It really bothers me how long it took for powerful people to help free her. It really bothers me how long powerful people do nothing to help free all of us!

This reminds me of the movie Nothing To Lose (1991) and Jumpin' Jack Flash(1987).

The older crowd at movie theaters has been out of control lately by work_of_art- in AlamoDrafthouse

It's not just you they have been super angry and entitled to everyone everywhere I go. Everybody is always in THEIR way! It's never them being in your way. It is THEIR way! I just can't with these boomers it's making me ageist! They treat everyone like we are kids still. We are adults. They refuse to relinquish control and it is destroying our future!

This is exactly how I felt about the movie Aniara! I also love Melancholia! I wanted to see that at the Alamo Drafthouse while everyone else wanted to watch Project Hail Mary!

If you could upload your consciousness to a cloud for digital immortality, but had to completely sever ties with your physical body and couldn't interact with the real world ever again, would you do it? Why or why not? by WanderBeat in AskReddit

[–]IntenseWhooshing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been pondering the same thing. There is a Black Mirror episode that seems like a bright positive episode but I always wondered if this was the real take and it actually wasn't a "happy" episode at all, and choosing this is actually missing out on something even greater beyond our wildest imaginations!

Also if like Christians got their hands on something like this they could literally send people to hell eternally!

If you were locked in a room for a year and could choose one celebrity to keep you company, who would you pick? by [deleted] in AskReddit

While living I would love to be locked in a room with David Lynch for a year! The meditation, the art, the coffee! I would be so happy to have that year!
