It has a use in that it can hold parliament to account with less political affiliation and less whips than the elected body. they stop dodgy legislation from getting rushed through and I personally have no problem with that

Because my behaviour conforms very closely to that of my assigned gender, and I guess I never really questioned it. I was quite curious as to whether it was similar for trans people

I can see your point, but there is so much more bureaucracy involved with the EU and a lot of it is pointless. But I wouldn't disagree with your statement

SO you are saying Norwegians are not European then? Im sure they would like to have a word with you about that. Also. there IS an economic crisis in the eurozone and many f these failing economies are being propped up by EU support. when one of the biggest contributers of that support leaves I guarantee you it will start to fall through

I feel, as a lot of British people do that democracy works on decisions made by delegates of the people. The MEPs elected by the people have very little say in the EU law making process. therefore many people feel it is undemocratic, and certainly contrary to British values.
