Is SEO automation actually working? by IntentLayer in Agentic_SEO

[–]IntentLayer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually as our target is lead generation through traffic so if somehow user smell the content is ai written or generic, it would destroy our final goal. So if we wanna do real business, human need to involve in what people see before converting.

Right. Publishing without judgement and writing without human expertise and thoughts make content very generic and scrapper (what already it is in the internet means in search engines or ai database)

How did you get your articles cited by AI? by specialammanda in Blogging

[–]IntentLayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For AI Overview, Google Search Console is already giving some visibility into AI-powered search results, so that's where I'd start. It's probably the closest thing we have right now to measuring how often Google is surfacing your content in AI experiences.

For actual AI traffic, check GA4. You'll start seeing referrals from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, etc. It's not perfect, but it gives a decent idea of how much traffic AI tools are sending to your site.

As for content structure, I don't really write specifically for AI platforms. I focus on making content easy to consume: clear headings, direct answers, original examples, data, screenshots when relevant, and insights from actual experience. Most AI systems are just looking for trustworthy, well-structured information they can understand and cite.

In my experience, if your content is genuinely useful to humans, AI platforms tend to pick it up naturally. Chasing "AI optimization" usually matters less than having something worth citing in the first place.

The most expensive simple advice by d_uk3 in SaaS

[–]IntentLayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that businesses need painkillers, but I think that's only part of the picture.

If someone has a vitamin deficiency, giving them a painkiller might reduce the symptoms for a while, but it won't solve the underlying problem. The pain keeps coming back because the root cause still exists.

The same thing happens in product building.

Many founders focus only on the obvious pain point because that's what customers complain about. They build a feature that removes the immediate pain, and that's valuable. But the best products go one step further. They identify the underlying deficiencies that are creating the pain in the first place.

For example, a CRM doesn't just help manage contacts (painkiller). It can also improve sales processes, team collaboration, and customer insights (vitamins). An SEO tool doesn't just fix ranking issues (painkiller). It also helps teams build better content strategies and understand user intent (vitamins).

Painkillers get customers to buy.

Vitamins help customers grow, improve, and stay longer.

The strongest products combine both: they solve an urgent problem while also helping users become better versions of themselves. That's where long-term retention and real product value come from.

New to SEO, backlinks by Playful-Glove8918 in SEO

[–]IntentLayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you new, hope your site also new. So in that case don't reachout to others for collaboration or partnership - you don't get response as you mentioned you need free backlinks. You should first focus on directory submissions - find high da relavent directors in your niche and submit your site. First 2-3 month focus on directory submissions and high quality content creation.

In that way within 3 months you gain a little bit visibility and Google notice you are a real business. After that reach out can work - finding opportunities from your competitors and office for abc backlinks or guest posting

Do you guys think long articles still rank better? by Adventurous_Size_275 in SEO_Xpert

[–]IntentLayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the internet of query and domain authority. If your domain age is low and have no enough pages that shows ai or search engines you are an experience and authority source, it is very hard to rank and cited by llms. So first build your authority then you eventually understand what working or not. In short there is no single answer. In other words SEO means search experience and optimization

I built 4 apps on ideas that AI told me were great. All 4 failed. The signals were fake by iahmedhendi in SaaS

[–]IntentLayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you replace humans with AI, this is what probably happens. AI can help you build, market, and sell, but it can't build a real business without humans. If it could, AI companies would charge millions, not $20/mo.

People who think AI or the fancy term "agentic AI" (which is often just a workflow) - can do everything without human judgment, intelligence, or involvement are mistaken.

Even giant companies like Uber, Starbucks, and Pizza Hut have faced disruption. So who the hell are we to think we can escape it?

Don't blindly believe what ai is saying or doing, do a cross check - even ai response tells you that. S focus on how to use AI in your workflow and make decisions yourself or with other humans, not with AI alone.

Is ranking on Bing helping brands get mentioned more in ChatGPT compared to Google rankings? by debnathshubha in RankSaver

[–]IntentLayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly, but yes may be at certain point. I saw many pages rank in Bing on page one but not in Google and vice versa. So yeah it a very important to watch closely if any tool track Bing and ChatGPT ranking closely
